One of the highlights of the festival was Atelier Cà Phê Phin, a series of complimentary workshops dedicated to Vietnam’s iconic brewing method.

Led by our team, each session introduced participants to the traditional Vietnamese phin filter, explaining its history, brewing process, and the distinctive characteristics of one hundred percent Vietnamese Robusta coffee.

The event also marked the end of a milestone year for Cộng Cà Phê Paris. Just five months after opening its first European café in the heart of Paris, the team came together to celebrate everything they had built, achieved, and experienced throughout this remarkable journey.

The evening was filled with memorable moments, including welcome drinks, group photos, a festive dinner, games, live performances, and the highly anticipated Secret Santa gift exchange, which brought plenty of laughter and surprises. A year in review video also looked back on the journey since opening day, highlighting the dedication, challenges, and achievements that shaped Cộng Cà Phê’s first months in Paris.

During the celebration, Store Manager Phương Linh and Marketing Team Leader Mỹ Vân shared heartfelt messages of appreciation, thanking every team member for their passion, commitment, and contribution to the brand’s success.

As Mỹ Vân shared:

“Thanks to your energy and dedication, we’ve accomplished so much this year. We look forward to an even more exciting 2026, with the ambition to grow not only across France but throughout Europe. Thank you, each and every one of you, for being an essential part of this journey.”

The evening concluded with an open sharing session, giving everyone the opportunity to reflect on the past year, celebrate shared successes, and look ahead with excitement to the opportunities that await in 2026.

On July 5, 2025, coffee lovers gathered at our newly opened café at 18 Rue Volney, 75001 Paris, for an intimate and immersive masterclass led by Nguyễn Hoàng Đức, Operations Specialist at Cộng Cà Phê International and one of Vietnam’s most respected baristas.

This unique workshop invited participants to discover the rich culture of Vietnamese coffee through its heritage, brewing techniques, and craftsmanship. From the slow and meditative drip of cà phê phin to the smooth sweetness of bạc xỉu and cà phê nâu, every cup told a story. We were also delighted to welcome renowned baristas and coffee professionals from across the community, who joined us to exchange knowledge and explore a new dimension of coffee culture, bringing the spirit of Vietnam to Paris and beyond.

Far more than a simple coffee tasting, the masterclass offered a truly immersive sensory experience. Guests sampled rich brews, breathed in the distinctive aroma of Vietnamese Robusta coffee, explored traditional brewing tools, listened to stories of origin and craftsmanship, and experienced the warmth and hospitality that define Vietnamese coffee culture.

Throughout the afternoon, we shared stories, flavours, and a genuine passion for coffee, creating a memorable experience of learning, discovery, and cultural exchange. Every cup served became an invitation to discover the soul of Vietnam.

On July 5, 2025, Cộng Cà Phê officially opened its doors in Paris at 18 Rue Volney, 75001, marking the debut of its first European location with an exclusive private evening. The event welcomed more than 150 guests, including partners, KOLs, friends, and longtime supporters of the brand, for an unforgettable celebration filled with connection, storytelling, and shared memories.

The evening was honored by the presence of Ms. Đặng Linh Giang, CEO of Cộng International, who reflected on the remarkable journey of the brand from the small streets of Hanoi to the heart of Paris.

“The other day, a friend in Paris asked me, ‘What makes Cộng Cà Phê so different? How can a brand that is not even one of the biggest in Vietnam become an international brand?’ The answer lies in the story we want to tell, the memories we preserve, and the traditions we hope to share, not only across generations but also with friends around the world.”

Her words captured both the significance of this milestone and the cultural spirit that defines Cộng Cà Phê. More than serving coffee, the brand brings a sense of nostalgia, authenticity, and Vietnamese hospitality to every city it calls home.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Ha Noi 1988 for creating an exceptional culinary experience. Through this special collaboration, guests enjoyed a selection of authentic Vietnamese specialties, including gà muối ớt salad, cơm xá xíu, bánh mì pâté with pickled vegetables, bánh bông lan trứng muối, and bánh cốm. The menu was paired with handcrafted mocktails, wine, and, of course, Cộng’s signature bestseller, Cốt Dừa Cà Phê, also known as Vietnamese Coconut Coffee.

Surrounded by a nostalgic setting inspired by Vietnam during the 1960s and 1970s, guests shared a toast while enjoying the rich aroma of Vietnamese Robusta coffee and the comforting atmosphere of a place that felt like home. It was a timeless evening where the past and the present came together in the heart of Paris.
